What makes a good pitch

Send a focused idea with a working headline, a short account of the question it answers and the reader it serves. Explain what is distinctive about your approach and how you would support factual claims. Specific, bounded subjects are more useful than broad calls to improve home life.

Contributions we welcome

We consider reported explainers, comparisons, cultural and historical pieces, and carefully framed practical features. Pitches should respect different households and avoid implying that one lifestyle fits everyone. We do not seek unsupported claims or disguised product promotion.
